It is a fact that for the Leh chalo rally last month in some parts of Ladakh public were told that there will be penalty/fine if atleast one person in the family did not attend the rally. During the climate fast also, goba of the village calls meeting and asks people to attend the climate fast, whether or not they support all demands is never considered. My concern is that if this is democratic? If govt.is offering the required safeguards in its capacity then why some leaders are adamant on a specific demand. Is it not politics?
