This makes me so happy and so very sad at the same time. My beautiful dad was a Nottingham forest fan. I grew up with him watching the games and get so excited when they won. He’s been gone now for a little over 8 years and I miss him so much it breaks my heart. We came to Australia 🇦🇺 when I was 15 and lived here ever since. My dad was cremated and around a year after he passed my sister and her husband went to England to see his family. She took some of dads ashes and laid them to rest at Nottingham forests home ground. He loved that team so much ❤️😢

He was 72 and the first game I watched Utd play was super hard because it used to be me and him. But there is a sliver lining my 2 year old loves football I couldn’t care who they supposed I’m just happy she loves football

I did the same with my dad's ashes at NY Giants Stadium in the US! I had to sneak dad in because it is frowned upon but I'll say I spread a small vial by the seats he sat in most of his life and I put a very small amount on the field. And a bit in the parking lot he loved to tailgate and BBQ in before the games. Wanted to make sure he sees the next Superbowl win we got coming eventually

Probably get shot for this as a Blade, but very well deserved. Was in the home end for both our matches at the City Ground this season and my opinion on Forest did a complete 180. Only ever heard bad things from everyone and formed my opinion on that. But being in the home end I saw something completely different and got a soft spot for them. Sure there were some dickheads (ie on way back to the train station for the first match some Forest fans just randomly jumped United fans) but every team has those dickheads and they don't represent the whole fanbase. So congratulations Forest, hope you do well in the Prem (even if I kind of wish you had stayed down so I can still go to the City Ground 🤣).

That's in addition to any new sponsor deals. If they avoid coming straight back down, you're in the £300million mark easily In the league they've just left as a comparison, the winner of that league (Forest came 4th) received £100k for their season payment this year.

The last time I went to watch a live football match Chelsea were playing against Nottingham Forrest and me being only 14 at the time was embarrassed when Chelsea supporters kept singing something about you ‘you can stick your bows and arrows up your arse’.
