The reason why Lupita was surprised about the way the baobap seeds looked and tasted is because it usually is in a very simple little plastic bag. It does not have any artificial flavouring other than the usual sugar and cardamom and red food colouring. The one she had is a more commercialised version. You can usually get the bapbap seeds on the streets for 40c a bag. If you Google Mabuyu, you can see what it usually looks like and also what the packaging looks like.
