Betty Wright passed away in May 2020 and my heart dropped. This song was HUGE when it came out and long afterward!! EVERYONE knows this song!! The music was sampled on several rap songs as well. I was 12 years old in 1971 when this came out and too young to understand it, but I did dance to it. Now, you have to listen to her song The Babysitter. Don't miss out!!

Betty Wright is one of the GREATS. She has so many SOUL hits, like "Secretary" , "Babysitter", "Let Me Be Your Lovemaker". She made all of us in Florida PROUD!!

One of the most talented women ever in secular music! She had to show the world that she had the most powerful and highest high register whistle notes in the history of secular music excluding opera music. Check out the live version of her song "No Pain No Gain"

I couldn't wait to see Mel's reaction and you didn't disappoint 😄. The funny thing is I was 10 years old when this came out, dancing and singing this song with no clue what it meant. I just thought it was about a cleaning lady 😄. Loved y'all's reaction.

😂😂😂 That's so funny. How innocent we were when we were kids! I danced and sang along with songs that were about drugs and I had no idea!

Mel's reaction to hearing the chorus of this song at around 1:58 is EVERYTHING; stuff got real for her from that point on. You can tell she don't play like that...LMBO!!! Love your reaction videos, keep them coming.

This song is fire!!! It exemplifies how a woman's ego can backfire on her! There was another song around the same time that makes a perfect bookend; "Mr. Big Stiff" by Jean Knight. If you haven't reacted to Big Stuff (who do you think you are?) might blow your minds too. Great reaction S&M ❤

A Clean Up Woman!!!! She said she was talking slick; What that means is she was being Mouthy, Disrespectful, Telling him to Get out --- Where do women think a man goes when she throws him out the house for the night? Or runs him out the house on the Weekend? Or? Or? Or? Oh men won't tell you... But the same day you tell us you want to take it slow, or take a Break -- The Clean Up Woman's Phone is Ringing!!!! FYI -- Now You Know!!! LMBO
