Ok As a guy who went through all of this for years and tore my hair out many times (as you can see)... yes and no. And also a very experienced guy who has studied this subject and run singles groups. On the one hand, it's not good to throw yourself at a guy who's not interested. That will often chase him away. And you are right if he says things like "I'm not ready for commitment" he really means "I'm just not that into you". All cool. Understood. But on the other hand, it's cool to flirt. chasing: he hasn't texted for a while and you send a text saying "'I need to know where this relationship is going...". 🙈 Flirting: wearing that hot dress just for him, being a bit revealing... and making sure you are in his line of vision. He won't analyse it and think it's for him, men are simple creatures. They don't do that stuff. In addition, they are visually attracted. If there is anything that will work, that dress will do it. Yes! And all the things you said. In fact you MUST do those things. Or he won't have any idea you like him! Here's a little story. I was really into this one lady at church and I also had a lady friend and we used to discuss this stuff. That day I made sure I was crossing paths with the lady I liked (so that she would almost certainly make eye contact). And she ignored me. So I said to my friend "nah, this girl's not interested...". My lady friend said "no you must push through". I stood there scratching my head "so that's what I'm supposed to do..." The average guy is clueless about women. You are waiting for him to "go get you" and he is waiting for a hint. And this is especially true in Churches. In the clubs and so on the guys are real bold because there's nothing to lose. If she says no, plenty more fish in the sea (in addition to the fact that he's had a few toots). But in a church... A man and his reputation. This is huge. You really need to listen to me: If he tries and crashes and burns, you will tell your friends. Now, I'm not saying that in a mean way. Women just share stuff. The single ladies will sit after church in the local cafe and discuss the single men. Thats just how it is. No gossip intended. All the guys know that. And they know, that if they mess up the approach (very easy to do when there is steam coming out out your ears waaaaiting for that long final pastor's prayer to end and you've got 20 mins before she exits the door after the service...) then your name will go round the church. Its not a joke. I've had the leadership on my back before over misunderstandings. Real nasty. Overprotective fathers. And if you are a young man who wants to aspire to leadership then you have to keep your nose clean! So most Christian men are looking for clear signs that she likes you before making the move. They are not scared of rejection! They are scared that they their ministry might be shut down! They are scared for the things of God! That's good motives (even if it's an overreaction). These days dating is a minefield. There is a lot of contempt for men out there, nasty things happening. This stuff is not a joke. So flirt a bit. Its OK. Don't overdo it but make your hints clear. If he likes you, he will pursue. That's where the "man initiating" thing comes in. Today, I am in a relationship with a beautiful Filipina lady. I am the happiest man in the world but I ended up here partly because of all this stuff. I just gave up on "the game" in the end. Its doesn't work. It has cost me an absolute fortune flying around the world but it was worth every penny. She is amazing. No complaints at all l, ever. But if people wouldn't play these games, I would have been married long ago and that money could have gone into a house and kids and all that stuff. Something to think about.

I'm soo happy you agree! I hope women and young girls understand how valuable they are and that it's not okay for guys to play games with their heart.
