I’m guessing there isn’t a proper way to climb in/out of a vehicle like a truck, van, etc?

Danae Goliath it’s always a tough one trying to get in and out of high cars. Depending on the height of the vehicle’s seat, you would still put your back to the chair, hop up slightly and use the handle to pull yourself onto the chair. I’ll try do a video of this sometime. But the real answer is that no there is not a proper way.

Danae Goliath What I do is step up onto the running board (most SUVs and trucks have them), then proceed the way the woman does in the video, turning my back to the seat, keeping legs together and sitting down that way. This keeps you from “hopping” up or down. Simply swing your legs slowly around so that your feet are above the step/running board, then step down from there. I do lightly use the “grab” handle to balance myself if necessary. The same goes for getting in and out of a limo or a sports car that is very low to the ground, where you must pull yourself UP slightly to get out. There is nothing wrong with using the handles to help yourself in those cases but that’s just my opinion and I am not an expert!
