You give me so much encouragement watching your tutorials. I love to try new things and even things I find difficult, but you make it look so effortless. I had so much fun, and now I'm going to try the hat. I usually make beanie hats for cancer patients and I'm always looking for a new spin on the hat to make them interesting for the patients I volunteer for. I love the split shell beanie. @JaydaInStitches
@JaydaInStitches 5 жыл бұрын
Hi Jim, generally if I make an infinity scarf in one long piece before making it circular, I simply leave a long tail at the end of my crochet and sew the two short ends together, it's neat and the seam is not terribly visible :)

Beautiful! IF I wanted to make this half as wide (for a smaller person for example), with say 4 split shells, how many foundation chains should I do? Half of 37 would give me 18.5🤔. Would I use 18 or round up to 19?
@JaydaInStitches
@JaydaInStitches 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Lisa, This pattern can be worked over a foundation chain length that is any multiple of 4 plus 9 extra chs, so for 4 split shells maybe try 25?

Hi! Jayda, love all your videos, they are very helpful, easy to follow, and you teach very well. How would you suggest making this scarf using more than one color? Thank you!

I don’t know how to look at or read patterns, because I don’t understand it. I just follow alongside with you. That’s why I ask how many chain for a wider scarf, just like what you’re making right now. Thank you again 🙏😊

Hi! It depends on your yarn, tension, hook and how wide you want to make it. This one is pretty wide, so if you wanted a wider one (one more repeat of the motif) try adding an extra 4 chains to the current foundation chain. For 2 more motifs, add an extra 8 😊

Hi!, we don't, but thank you for the suggestion 😊 I would just like to add, make sure that he will actually want to wear it before you make one. I made my husband one and he never wears it 😂
