Question - how do I make a shawl out of the scarf? Do I chain more or do I do more rows?
@JaydaInStitches2 жыл бұрын

@JaydaInStitches5 жыл бұрын
Hi Jim, generally if I make an infinity scarf in one long piece before making it circular, I simply leave a long tail at the end of my crochet and sew the two short ends together, it's neat and the seam is not terribly visible :)

Beautiful! IF I wanted to make this half as wide (for a smaller person for example), with say 4 split shells, how many foundation chains should I do? Half of 37 would give me 18.5🤔. Would I use 18 or round up to 19?
@JaydaInStitches2 жыл бұрын
Hi Lisa, This pattern can be worked over a foundation chain length that is any multiple of 4 plus 9 extra chs, so for 4 split shells maybe try 25?

Hi! It depends on your yarn, tension, hook and how wide you want to make it. This one is pretty wide, so if you wanted a wider one (one more repeat of the motif) try adding an extra 4 chains to the current foundation chain. For 2 more motifs, add an extra 8 😊
