I use Bolt everytime I travel cz I don't have a car yet. The problem is is not Bolt, the problem is the country as a whole. Sad truth is that there's nothing we can do as women bcz this is not new, we just need to be more vigilant weather it's Bolt, Uber, meter taxi or even walking on the streets where I feel more unsafe. Let's not blame Bolt, we are helping some men feed their families and they are helping us too.

I’m not sold on bolt after hearing you out because the issues bolt has are similar issues Uber has as well. There’s a disconnect between what’s happening in the boardroom and what’s happening on the ground. I don’t know how that disconnect can be fixed tbh. However having said that I understand there’s privilege in not having to use this mode of transport and for others that might be strapped via options this is the best money wise.

I have been following your journey for a good min and I know why you took the meeting with Bolt. You were also trying to change the narrative but I appreciate that you were transparent with the concerns you had about the brand. People who don't know about how brand partnerships work will always critisize whatever brand you choose to collaborate with. All in all I believe you and I know your heart. There are far too many people who would have partnered with Bolt just for the money but you studied something similar to me so I see what your objective was. I have mixed feelings about this bolt thing. I think if I feel uncomfortable using bolt because of the experiences of the other ladies, it's totally okay. Also, people and specifically women are still using bolt despite the horrible things others have experienced. So I think use it, don't use it, it's up to you. I am greatful that I've never had any problems, and I pray i don't....coz i can't afford the other one. You gotta keep refreshing or searching for a ride. But the issue is that a lot of cab drivers threaten bolt drivers and will literally make the bolt client get out of the car. But i was surprised to see a lot of women bolt drivers. So try getting a bolt before you call a cab you might save a lot.

Bolt is in my experience way safer than Uber by a whole mile, I have only ever heard of one issue with bolt. And i always use them even at night with no issues but obviously I wouldn't tell ladies to do that cause firstly my area had really great driver's, and izinhlanhla zabantu azifani I would say.

Hi Naledi, I think that you shouldn't hold back on a collaboration with "expensive" brands if you can or are comfortable with. Cause i don't think you can mostly tell the kind of lifestyle that your viewers have.
