I heard her in an interview talking about struggling with confidence and whether or not she was good enough. So, as we can see, outer appearances can be deceiving. We can look confident on the outside but still struggle inside. She is unbelievable.

When I heard Glennis sing this, after she had sung it before at AGT, she made me her fan for good. This while my preference has always been for classical instrumental music, where Bruckner's symphonies are among others my favourites. I can imagine your reaction so well because Glennis is a super talent. To me she is the Queen of the Ladies of Soul. Many songs have been written about love. You can not look too crazy or it is another history or experience that is being sung about. And that is different with 'Run to You'. I think it's about a fictitious person. Someone you wish you could exist. But he doesn't exist. So I think it's about loneliness. If you can sing this so emotionally here, it can hardly be otherwise than that Glennis knows what loneliness is, otherwise I cannot explain her emotions. I've heard a lot of singers sing emotional pieces in my life, but I've never heard it this intense from a singer. At the end, she can barely hold back her tears. Every time I hear Glennis sing this, I also shed a tear.

Try Always by Bon Jovi. Or one of her own dutch songs: Geen traan (No tear). If you listen to that carefully you hear the skills she has. Not only belting etc, but the control of her voice while jumping from high to low and vice versa. Very underrated song.

The story of Glennis Grace is complicated she had started singing at the age of 6 and already she had an incredible voice then at 16 years old finally a 1st TV and she won wow because already she had Whitney Houston in the skin and the resemblance is just wow ... watch this video it's just wow it's her first cool tv ... Glennis Grace is 16 years old her first TV in the Netherlands she wins 1st prize for her English subtitles if you don't understand the Nederlands ok great emotion for me necessarily a real ray of sunshine forever love .... (for info: unfortunately after her she was less well because at 28 she gave birth to her son Anthony and had to stop singing to raise her children alone, and then at 11 his him who told his mom you sing too much well you have to take back your dream and at this age it inscribes it everywhere and she even has the talent of American goot in the USA and today is 43 years old finally she is recognized worldwide as a big star of the song and is in demand everywhere in the world and her son goes everywhere with her .. In regards to a voice that cannot be bypassed, you're absolutely correct! Now can you explain why Whitney, Nippy & her Agency had known about Glennis for decades. Why? Because that's what businesses do when competition is THAT close. They have ears, they've known. My bet is they've taken her likeness to Whitney as an insult & would BET that started with the Diva's jealousy, ranting & raving how THIS could not be happening! Think of Kings & Queens. They will NOT share their thrones!!! To date, they've been overlooking & bypassing Ms Glennis whenever a Tribute or memorial was given in Whitney's behalf. Someone needs to talk to them.

Over and over again I have to say, this is an extraordinary live presentation of this song wich Whitney never did live.! I loved Whitney from the very first moment. I still remember hearing Whitney siniging "Saving All My Love" on the radio while heading down the highway to my working place. I was a young semi-professional musician working as a production manager for a tv-station to earn the daily living for me and my family. I was so overwhelmed that I nearly had to stop my car: "Who is this singer?" Today, nearly 40 years later, I expirience the same emotions again listening to Glennis Grace. I'm sure that if Glennis would have sing these songs original back in the 80th, everbody would say "There's a certain Whitney Houston who's doing perfect covers of Glennis Grace"!

Thats our Glennis, the Dutch Whitney Houston. She has plenty of songs of her own, but she loves to sing covers by Whitney.. and she does them extremely well (she also sings Alicia Keys songs (among others), and does them equally well) Glennis is one of our very best singers, at least.. i think so, we're kind of blessed in our little nation when it comes to singing talent, we got a lot of ridiculous good singers for some reason lol. I love the way she limits the vocal wavering gymnastics that turns me off of some artists - just enough, but not too much - as you say MR H, totally top drawer, and until I started listening to Dutch shows a few years back, had never heard of her either. You're absolutely right, my friend! Glennis is kind of "unbelievabel". I'd never thought any singer could come so close to Whitney. And for me there's another magical aspect which is extraordinary. Although she is so close to Whitney, Glennis keeps her own glow and personality, pure and true! What an angel. My first video of her was "Didn't We Almost Have It All" and it really knocked me out. I'm a tough guy, but it brought the tears to my eyes (and at least a million fell). Suddently Whitney seemed to be back and all the memories and the spirit of that time. Glennis was already singing Whitney’s songs at a very young age. Her grandfather actually build a studio in the attic for her, when he discovered she was incredibly talented.
