Kilburn to Cricklewood London walking | UNSEEN LONDON

This will be a short walk from Kilburn Station to Cricklewood train station. Personally is my 1st time here in this area, but one of the subscribers recommended me to come here and film, so here we are :)

My Dad worked there during the 60s. He is from Templemore in Tipperary. Returned home in 69

Lived here from 1963 until leaving for Australia in late1967....THE CROWN Hotel is the only thing i recognize. standing like the great PYRAMID OF GIZA.....Doubt if will last that long lol

The craic was good in Cricklewood. We wouldn’t leave the crown. There was glasses flying ,Biddies Crying ,Paddys we were going to town.☘️☘️☘️ God, love the London, Irish

You walked right by my Auntie Phyllis flats, where she lived in the 1980's. Soon as you leave the tube in Kilburn, she lived a few blocks away on the side you were walking on. Don't remember exact address but only within a few blocks from the tube. I walked on the same sidewalk as you, so long ago. Now you are walking towards Crickewood where my Grandma lived. I'll see if your video runs out first. I stayed in her flat during one summer. Same side of the street you are on now but she lived off a road on the left side and about 1 block off the Cricklwood High Road. So many memories for me. My auntie and grandma both long ago passed on. Thanks for taking this walk. Bittersweet memories. 😶

Back in 1979-80 I used to ride my bike from Maida Vale to Cricklewood, passing Sainsbury's in Kilburn on the right-hand side. I used to work at Sainsbury's part-time while studying. Bill Williams used to be the manager...great memories.

lived not far from the GALTYMORE in the early 1960"s Mary sadly now closed (2008) i think ...now live in Melbourne....i did see that the CROWN is still there ( maybe heritage listed) stay well
