How to easily trim and shorten the hem of a skirt

Here's how I trimmed and shortened the hem of a half-circle silk skirt. You can also use this method to shorten the hem of any skirt precisely, quickly and easily!

Guardato video precedente, ottima e accurata spiegazione, ho imparato nuovi trucchetti! Non ho un manichino e non ho l'attrezzo, come posso fare a prendere da sola l'orlo di un abito lungo in poliestere con fodera?

Puoi indossare l'abito e farti aiutare da qualcuno. Legando una matita gesso o un marker (verifica prima che sul tuo tessuto non macchino) a un asta o a un manico di scopa al livello che desideri l'orlo. è un pochino più complesso ma piano piano dovresti riuscire.

This is just the device I need to help with levelling the hems of my full circle dresses which drop on the bias. Where can I get one ? I have previously used the cumbersome method of measuring an equal distance from the floor to the desired hem length while the dress was hanging from a hanger. I would gladly purchase such a tool if I knew where to get it from and at what cost.

Il capo va indossato per usare il segnaorli. Il tutorial andrebbe fatto per spiegare l’uso corretto, non quello sbagliato.
