There is a very deep connection in the puzzle. In Weird Als song I perform this way, the lyrics read, 'I'm strange, weird, shocking, odd, bizarre" kind of my inside joke.

I got Mushy in 4, PRESS, SATIN, CUSHY, MUSHY. I'll take it! Strands took me some time, bit had NYT perfect. Connections was an 8 for me. I missed the order and couldn't name the purple. I called it things you can out other items in. We solved in the same order.

I’ve seen some people asking for a new Connections editor when I looked at the comments sections of other creators. It seems the gaming community is not a happy bunch right now.

@@ADailySliceOfOranje That's interesting. I had no idea, since I usually watch only your channel, plus Art's, and Chris Remo's, on a daily basis. Once in a while, I watch Doug too, but not every day. I always read the comments too, but on the channels I watch, I have not seen any complaints of the type you describe. I wonder if the NYT games editors read those comments, and how receptive they might be to complaints and criticisms.

I had trouble with the purple too. The movie set DRIVER certainly was a big stretch. And yes, a California Roll is a type of sushi. It's popularity may be due to the fact that it does not contain any raw fish, so it's a good option for the squeamish. It's also delicious.

Fabulous job on Andrea's puzzle! A Rose #9 🟪🟦🟦🟦X famous Al's (+ ROKER, - WEIRD) 🟩🟩🟩🟦 🟨🟨🟨🟨IMPALE 🟩🟩🟩🟩UNUSUAL 🟦🟦🟦🟦FAMOUS AL'S 🟪🟪🟪🟪B____ I should have known better than to think Andrea could possibly have a category that wasn't overloaded. 😆Once AL'S didn't work out as expected, I knew WEIRD had to move from UNUSUAL to AL'S, but then I didn't know what to move out of the AL'S, and tried GORE ... 🤪After that result I was able to figure it out eventually, although Purple gave me trouble.
