She IS telling the Truth. They did it in Charleston, South Carolina to the Seniors. Raised their Taxes so high they weren’t able to afford it and the Whites came in and swooped up the Property for little or nothing. It Doesn’t even feel like home how it has changed. I only go back every 5 years because I still have family there.

That seems to be an aging community. Not all residents may be on pension, and even so, they may not be able to afford it despite their desire to assist. Sometimes, even ten dollars is a difficult to come by.

They said, they used to help all the time but the renters moved in and let it go. They probably don't have the physical or financial ability to do the yard I had a yard on a house I moved into that was like this and It's estimated cost to clear was $2,000 or more to do the front and $2000 to $5,000 for the back. Luckily, I have an ADHD sister who cleared the back and I cleared the front.. 😆

Lovely! Will part 2 be the back yard? Where I am, once a person is 65, their property tax does not increase unless there is a millage voted in for libraries, fire, police-which seldom happens. In this way, seniors are not forced out of their homes. I am surprised cities have not figured this out as a way of keeping neighborhoods stable and not forcing seniors out of their homes. Keep going and helping out.

I have been missing the two of you, glad you are back. I can answer the ladies question "She does not know whats wrong with the young generation" 90% of them are a bunch of No Counts because their parents made them that way. The parents was so involved in what they wanted to do in life and so many divorces they did not raise their children like they should have been raised. They gave them everything they wanted, did not have to work for anything therefore this generation has no respect. But the two of you were raised very well and everyone is so proud of you and what you do to help others and their neighborhoods. The yard looked great and so many nice neighbors to talk and thank you. Bless you both. The trimming of the bushes I usually go ahead and cut anything that is there because it grows back and fills in the hole. 😊😊😊😊
