@beatlesmack9 This is a renaissance lute (baroque one had more strings and different tuning). EMS lute are cheap on internet (but not so good) or look for student or used lutes on" lute societies" (search wit google...)

A comparer à des versions pour clavecin (harpsichord). La version la plus gaie est certainement celle de Christopher Wilson en ensemble que tu as dans "The flower of all ships" avec carrément la cornemuse (bagpipe) qui évoque si bien le marin. Bravo, réalisation bien ciselée de cette pièce très difficile ! 5 stars ! Bien amicalement, Roger

@dng0alg I only have lute tab (an arrangement) the original is for keyboard, you should look for the Fitzwilliam virginal book to find it. Good luck ! V.

Oh - you have it for lute!! I've been trying to find it in lute tablature after my one and only copy was destroyed in a car accident - thankfully the lute was not badly damaged but a lot of my music was lost. Did you transcribe it yourself?
