Lady doctors say GMC relatively safe; doctors may call off strike

The all India doctors protest against the brutal rape and murder of an intern doctor at Kolkata entered the fifth day. The Goa Association of Resident Doctors submitted a memorandum to Health Minister Vishwajit Rane identifying safety and other issues. Rane assured that all security measures will be taken to ensure safety of lady doctors. Doctors said they may call off the strike today, but protest in terms of black bands may continue till the Kolkata victim gets justice. OPD and other emergency service in GMC are running we are doing 24 hours service they said.

Yes exactly.. it was for justice to that kolkata girl.. not for their own personal needs
