This song hits 10x harder when you think about the time it came out, 2020 during Covid. A time where people were literally dying left and right. A time where we were being POURED on and yet Gaga told us to stand strong. “I’d rather be dry, but at least I’m alive. Rain on me!” Some will never know how much she did during Covid both musically, emotionally and financially (getting rich people to donate money to funding research for a vaccine). She’s a queen in EVERY way. 💖
