That's why she's able to put complex things because she's so involved and devoted to her art! However, I think the idea of this music video was a collaboration between her ideas and the ideas of the director of the video so she's not alone of course

The story of the video is Gaga is a mother alien that births her fans, creating a perfect, harmonious, kind society. When they're attacked (homophobic, racist, hateful people) she has to use force or "evil" to defend her otherwise kind world. The scenes with the many heads in a room are an alien incubator, she's singing to instill confidence and kindness to reiterate to future listeners. The skeleton scenes reference the lyrics, representing "So what if I go to Hell for loving everyone, I'll be in Hell doing the same thing". The unicorns are of course a cute/kind gesture to the gay community. The video references a million things from Metropolis, Michael Jackson, Madonna, etc. Gaga is a huge gay rights activist. This album makes me extremely emotional. I was in 10th grade when it came out, used my own money to buy it. Then bought my first concert tickets for this tour and got to be in the monster pit (front row at all times cause you’re inside of the stage) I took a picture with her mom that day and Gaga told me with her own two lips that she loves me right to my face ❤️

You talk about Beyoncé then you have to react to Telephone MV ft. Beyoncé! And well Lady Gaga had a depression in 2013-2014 because the machine to make hits she created herself (she became a machine). Also she was releasing bangers after bangers of musis videos but she had to stop + her former manager didn't treat her well and left her at the least "flop" she had which was even not a real flop and more related to his bad management decisions than anything else. Of course she had a responsibility but when she realised she was a cash machine for all the people around her and when she was bringing less money they would abandon her. She got depressed and hit hard. So after that event she slowed down a lot and she came back with amazing songs like Million Reasons and later on Shallow, Always Remember Us this way then Rain on Me and even Hold my Hand 1 year and half ago. Now she's cooking new music and will be the lead actress to the movie the Joker 2 that will come at the end of the year
