lady gaga's head voice/falsetto is so damn nice. Wish she uses it more often.

By the way +HellYeah!, The Bb5, B5, and C6 notes you place as exclamations are actually Head Voice exclamations. They are not wild, uncontrolled shrieks, but are rather done in a controlled, musical way. So while it may not count as part of her SUNG vocal range, it counts as part of her MELODIC vocal range.

I don't understand how she pulls her mic super far from her and you can still hear her clearly. I don't see how that's possible? She probably has the sensitivity very high. Just thought that was kinda weird haha
@lucasiglesias18948 жыл бұрын
Chris Gonzales theaters have better acoustic + she uses more projection when singing jazz
@hellyeah1928 жыл бұрын
It's something called squilo singing, if the sensivity were too high the mic would get the sounds arround her. But I do believe that she used some artifice on 3:43, other than that it's all on her pipes.
@paws84038 жыл бұрын
I think she starts to improve in this era, mostly her mix. Her lows i think no much change, support until Eb3 below that like low larynx. Her mix before is like D5 but i've found she shows some nice moment in Eb5 in this era, but her chesty mix is need to be change to balance mix or balance-heady mix mostly outside her outside supported range mix. Her head voice has a nice moment too like she tries to show and use it more often than in the past which she prefer to belt. Her resonances tho, i feel like her Bb4-C5 resonances are her best area which are so strong, like it's not her problem. So i think Eb3-D5/Eb5-G#5?
@hellyeah1927 жыл бұрын
The D3 was quite even, the C#3 however was done with a lowered larynx. I don't think that she will ever perfect her mix as she likes the chestier sound. I would say Eb3-Eb5-G#5, but for C2C era alone.

Does she use head voice more than falsetto ? or the opposite ?
@lucasiglesias18948 жыл бұрын
Mourad Bighrman it's hard to differentiate falsetto from HV in women, in fact, most singing teachers will say that women don't have falsetto
@hellyeah1928 жыл бұрын
HV more often, gaga's falsetto tone is very distinctive, sounding quite dry and weak. You can hear it properly on some Joanne songs.
@mouradbighrman97468 жыл бұрын
Yeah I agree that it's hard to say the difference.. and yeah some of her falsetto sounds too airy and kind of could stop at any moment.
