How many great movies was Di Caprio in? After a long career he has just won a oscar and has a total of 3 golden globes. TheAlexplainer the best performance deserves the award whether it’s your 1st movie or your 50th. 30 years from now, no one will be talking about ‘the wife’ because if Glenn close wins the oscar, it’ll be a pity win. Every critic has said ‘it’s her turn’ not ‘she deserves the award’. You mention leonardo DiCaprio but everybody knows he didn’t actually deserve the oscar for ‘the revenant’. I agree.... Some people are just pushed by the medias for some obscure reasons. Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift..... all these girls are from very wealthy families, and there are tons of people (even on KZbin) with the same kind of talent they have, but the medias seem determined to convince the world they are incredibly talented in every field, when everybody except for their teenager fans can see they aren't.
