Long before she was Lady Gaga, when she was simply Stefani Germanotta, she started playing classical piano at four and by 12 years old was singing and preforming for people. She is only around 23 in this video, and already she has an immense vocal and musical range, her own style, charisma, and even learned enough French to engage the host and audience for this show! This preformance takes the ammunition away from haters because it is impossible to discredit Gaga once you've seen this. ;)

She' s beyond words. Since I was 17 my musical idol and favourite person has been Frank Zappa. The mere fact that Gaga bought his house after his passing and lived in it for 2 or more years just proved that great minds have more in common than meets the eye. She's is one of a kind.

C'est probablement la nana la plus sous-estimée de notre époque. Elle chante 100 fois mieux aujourd'hui, qu'à l'époque de ce live-ci. Elle est même capable de chanter du Jazz, du lyrique, du disco, du blues, et du Rock, s'il vous plaît ! L'album de reprises Jazz en duo avec Tony Bennett est d'ailleurs un délice ! A écouter sans modération haha !

Non mais oui, Perry, Rihanna, Cyrus, Minaj et compagnie sont des grosses blagues de l'industrie du disque formatées pour les gamins/gamines. Stefani (Lady Gaga) sort heureusement du lot: Véritable puissance vocale, maîtrise de plusieurs instruments, diversité dans les registres (Pop, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Cabaret, Disco/Funk etc) ce qui fait d'elle un caméléon féminin du mainstream. Dommage qu'elle ait du mal (en dehors des USA) à sortir de l'enfermement dans la case "Popstar" dans laquelle les médias et l'industrie l'ont foutue. Un second album de Jazz avec Bennett sera prévu après le nouvel album Pop/Rock qu'elle se prépare à sortir, on verra bien si ça continuera d'améliorer son image et surtout, de montrer son talent/sa versatilité au grand public (même si c'est déjà fait aux USA, elle reste très sous-estimée en Europe, surtout en France) ^^

Years after Nagui commented best moments of "Taratata" .... This moment was one of them. He didn't ever knew Lady Gaga at this time. French (and I) didn t knew more. Nagui was sceptic until she trained at piano. He said how people thought she was 1 pop artist among 100 that used playbacks... he said his surprise when this day he realized she was so talentuous. Lady gaga was not 1 among 100 she is the first of all. Respect for this great woman 👍 (and rather one day before nobody wanted her on french radio & tvs, 1 day after all would like to invite her.
