I lack confidence and I can't even carry normal conversations because I keep thinking that people would judge me. I started listening to Gaga 2 years back and I have started accepting myself now. It's Christmas eve right now and yestersay I have changed my hairstyle (and even my confidnece is already really low) my dad came up to me and he told me that I look bad and it's terrible and I was sad as fuck and then this song came on Shuffle. I don't think people hate her, I think a lot of people don't see past the 'strange look' and the big choreographed sets. I'm 55 and was never in to Madonna (more my era) but I fairly quickly saw there was a lot more to Gaga, underneath the glitz and glam there is a true musician and artist who has fought hard to get where she is and as someone who was always 'different' she talks to me through her lyrics.
