Taylor Joe, I totally agree. Beyonce clearly has a better vocal range than Lady Gaga, whereas Lady Gaga has a somewhat limited contralto range, Gaga sings all the right notes tho. Lady Gaga def seems a bit louder than Beyonce in this song, but keep in mind that (except in the bridge, the only part of the song where Beyonce took a solo vocal), Beyonce sang backup in the last chorus, and that's probably why Lady Gaga seems louder than Beyonce.

Gaga is an A+ list vocalist and you can look it up, she certainly does not have the same vocal style as Madonna, it’s a very evident fact that Gaga’s vocals are superior compared to Madonna’s. But this song in particular is super auto tuned and doesn’t sound very similar to Gaga’s other two singles from this era which are Bad Romance and Alejandro which have amazing studio vocals.

Beyonce only sings solo vocals in the bridge, then singing backup in the last chorus of the song, and that's probably why Lady Gaga seems louder than Beyonce.

It's just that Beyonce's vocal arrangements in the last chorus are harder to hear in the "finished" version of the song than they are here. Even in the actual song, tho, u can hear Beyoncé in the last chorus, for in virtually all songs that have Beyoncé as a featured artist, she seems to always want to "make [her] presence known". IMO, the difference between 0:47 and 2:14 says it all.
