She was so great at the start of her career. I don’t think she fully delivered on the promise of her debut in terms of balancing her commercial ambitions with her fine art ambitions but she was an undeniable star in the making when she first arrived. I struggled to embrace her for a while because the lyrics were just… very novice to me… but the visuals and stage presence and sound were all there.
