This is one of my favorite songs from Lady GaGa! There are so many references in this song. When she lived on the Lower Eastside, her and her friends were into metal and glam rock. Their group was known as the Rivington Rebels named after Rivington Street which is where their favorite bar/hangout spot was, St. Jerome’s. Dirty Pearls is a band that fellow Rivington Rebel Tommy London formed. St. Jameson is a reference to Lady GaGa’s favorite liquor, Jameson whiskey neat. It could also be a reference to St. Jerome’s.
