The Fame wasn't superficial, it was the idea of her struggle to make it big and how she had to change herself. The Fame will forever be her best album, she said it's about the idea that fame isn't everyonre knowing you, it's that when you walk down the street you're the person everyone WANTS to know, she she took up that knowledge and look how it turned out :D

I love it when she performs with a few dancers instead of a bunch! In my opinion, it makes the performance stands out! I do hope her next album will have songs like the Fame or Born this way tracks. Surprise us, but don't disclose much details. We want to be surprised and hopefully it will be a very good album that will have hit singles!!!

WE hard core super fans who fell in love with the "old" gaga, we still love her journey and where she is going with her career, we still can't wait for ARTPOP but calling us "pathetic" for missing the old GaGa is absurdly ridiculous. whoa.....i just realized that this video is the first video i ever saw Lady Gaga EVER!!!!! My first thought about her music was....catchy song...My first thought about her was...she's kinda hot...about a month later, i'm begging my parents to buy me The Fame. About a month after that, they come home with The Fame, I open it up, i put it in the computer and listen to the whole thing about 3 times.....that was the day I officially became a Little Monster:D

The old gaga, believe it or not was kind of shy: she gave amazing performances just like recently in the born this way ball but the songs were way more commercial. now the lyrics are stunning and the born this way album surely came from her heart even if she took a risk changing her music style and loosing the people you're talking about. she could of carried on making poker face hits but she's deeper than this, a true artist. "i've got my bangs to hide that i don't stand a chance" not anymore

I am an American male (from Houston, TX). I love Lady Gaga, and this song, which is her creation. I have never seen her perform in person, but there seemed to be a little disconnect in this performance. I have some small regret, as I felt let down. Obviously, a "music video" is done in a much more "controlled environment" than a live performance, so that might have been the source of my lowered opinion. I still enjoy Lady Gaga and, of course, "Poker Face."

OMG, there is no such thing as 'the old Gaga' or the 'the new Gaga'. She only dressed differently and has matured a lot. If she dressed and talked the same today, she would be forgotten or she wouldn't be as big as she is today. She would just be another artist.
