It’s easy to forget just how famous she was from 2009-2011. There was a moment in time when she was easily the hottest topic in the media, the world was waiting for to out-do herself. She’s a legend now and has achieved more accolades than any of her contemporaries but how she managed to become an icon only two years into her career is exceptional and I doubt there will be anyone else that can do the same.

I was 14 when this first came out. I can still recall the day I first listened to her angelic voice. I was in an abusive home, with no siblings, and parents who pretty much ignored me most of the time. I was alone.. and then there was Gaga.. she gave me a childhood I will never forget. I read every article, watched every interview, she was my first concert. In more ways than one, she’s saved my life. She’s more than my favorite artist, she is apart of me. I love you Gaga, thank you for being just you.
