You said about lady Gaga’s words being theatrical and put into a song. Lady Gaga was always an actress even theatrical as a young girl. At 16 she got a main role in Rent that was on Broadway. When they found out her age they kicked her out. But as she was a musician she was always an actress. People think because of American horror show and the movie with Bradley cooper that these were her first inclinations in acting, but, no, she was always an actress. She’s morphed so many times taking from Madonna. She was busy sewing outfits for her videos and songs in her small apartment. Also in certain circles in New York at certain Asante gard clubs lady Gaga was doing performance arts. Her name was on this video with her collaborator as writer and producer.

the concept plot line is a connection with the movie ‘thelma and louise’!! also the “p*ssy wagon” yellow flared truck is from the movie ‘kill bill’ so it has those references to! fun fact: gaga referencing thelma and louise made by ridley scott, then gaga now in 2021 is starring in one of his new films called ‘House of Gucci’ where she plays the main character patrizia gucci, that had her husband, FOUNDER OF GUCCI, killed by a hitman...when you said that she’s acting in her mv as if she’s in acting a movie because she actually did want to be an actress, and now actually IS!! it’s just a full circle moment 😭❤️ loved your rxn! react to more gaga live performances too!! :)

You guys are actually right, Gaga initially didn't want to be a singer, but an actress. She was stripping and doing music on the side, when she was discovered on MySpace by her first manager who hen introduced her to Akon who then signed her. She then started pursuing music instead of acting, but now she's mainly focusing on movies. She's in Italy right now, shooting a new movie actually.

I don't know if somebody said ir before, but Jonas Arkelund used a similar visual at Madonna's "music" video, which bring the same "Pulp Fiction" iconic font. It all mix much more of pop art elements.
