@@Thescrantondude Art is perceptive, yet all qualifies as art under the untrained clouded eye of the fan. It was a ‘tool’ for her success for shock value. Nothing more nothing less. Albeit she is enough as herself, she had to play the field. And she did it well. Proven in her work to drop it like a hot potato upon her cemented success, the shock value (disguised as art) is no longer needed to stand out. The true art is in her voice and her work, not what she wears 🤷 Different and weird, doesn’t necessarily correlate to art. People are very easily duped.

@@Allegro_Giusto this woman has dedicated her life to her art, making herself a living canvas. Yes, her style has changed over time. Change is an inevitable thing that affects everything that lives and breathes. We evolve as we gain life experience and our personal tastes change as we do. @@maggierose7104 Zero of what i said is negative. Don’t be so naive and caught up with feelings. You trying to get philosophical yet condescending, but sound young and naive on a very very basic concept of what artists ‘selling’ their image does. Its what every single star does. Im literally stating a fact evidenced by the lady herself 🙄 Its show business 101, and she did it well. Fan or no fan, it is what it is. If you also read what I said properly, it would already answer your picture of change and why.

Tbf it was more to see if she felt anything and from what she said he followed up asking if she could see it in her future. It wasn't a direct ask but more went with the flow of the conversation. Though you could tell he wasn't sure how to word it without coming across as pushy or rude. I've been in much more awkward or plain rude conversations about it before myself.

@@TMWriting ah I didn't get that from your first comment but yes sadly it is a gendered question. It's like it's fine for men to talk about their sexual conquests and it's celebrated but not for women to do that as its then deemed slutty. My original comment was to say that it didn't come across as anything more than something of interest to me IMO it didn't seem to be more than going along with the conversation unlike what ellen did to a guest who was suspected of being pregnant by making them drink alcohol to admit to wether or not it was true

She tries too hard to be profound and eccentric. It's like the people who say "I'm a weird and wacky person I am", because those people are hardly ever weird or wacky, or interesting for that matter. The truly unconventional, unique and "weird" people I have met in life are usually not aware of that fact, they just are because they are. But take away all the calculated crap and focusing just on her as a vocalist and a pop star, I think Lady Gaga has a great voice and even though her music is not something that interests me I can't deny how good she is. When she is stripped down to basics Lady Gaga is without doubt a very talented musician and seems like a likable and as you said "humble" person. I guess the other stuff is just her way of expressing herself via clothing and theatrics, which as a fan of creativity I appreciate and understand. I just don't like how people try and pretend that they are kooky when they really are not. But that's just because I'm a miserable, pessimist git, and it is my problem to deal with not theirs.

She is not a character, she is a human being with different facets and she is evolving while she ages. What about this interview is not humble? This woman has always been humble, sincere, sweet and a goofball. She simply cannot show every aspect of her personality in a 10 min talk show interview. She is as real as they come, now and back then, in a meat dress, full latex of a 'simple' outfit.
