Hi Lisa, I’m anticipating the return of my daughter for Christmas. She’s in grad school in Ireland so I can feel your anticipation. I don’t do WIPGO per se. I have my kitted projects in various states of completion. I let the stitchy wind take me anywhere amongst those charts. I like the little surprise of what I work on next. No strict schedule, no calendars, just comfortable fun of those charts. Over time I have only retired one pattern out of the bunch. I live too far away to visit Liberty Hill shop to go often. I try to go once or twice a year- it’s a 3 hour drive one way. I hope next time I go there that it will be a day when you are there! What fun it was seeing so many of your children's ornaments. You do wonderful finishing. The way you sewed some of your pieces together by going through the corresponding back stitches is the exact same thing we'll be doing with our Festive Forest finish. Glad you got the plaid box. I missed out on the original run but was at a retreat there when David told us they were making a few more that would go up on the website. I made sure I grabbed one then. I made stitched ornaments for my 2 daughters starting when they were born but only did it for about 5 years. I love the idea of doing 13 Colonies for a blessing sampler. I’m in a colony too (NY) plus I also lived in Virginia (Arlington). Love Project
