One of the best skits I saw was about a leukemia patient who went to see his Dr w his mother after a successful bone marrow transplant. While they're waiting there's a young man of a different race sitting on the other end of the sofa & the mother takes her son as far away from the young man as she can. When the Dr arrives the 3 of them stand, & the young man follows them into the room, but he stands back by the door w his head down. Mom's thanking the Dr, wishing she could meet her son's donor. Dr said that's why he called them in, the donor said he'd like to meet them also. Mom gets excited, when can they meet? Where can they meet? The Dr stands & approaches the young man, saying his name & putting his hand out for the young man to come forward.... An excellent example of prejudice & how different races doesn't make us different on the inside. His bone marrow is still compatible for & cured her own son. They don't mark blood by what race it came from either. Just a random thought as I watch these. 😻😻😷
