P.L. definitely had PTSD back then, and at first I thought she was bein' a grouch when I first saw the movie, until then I realize, as a young adult, that she had a bad childhood, and because of that, she twisted up to be like her father, except she drank tea instead of wine, beer, vodka, or any other alcoholic beverages.
