Thank you for such an informative video! I"m learning a lot and in the process of researching what wheel works for me.

Scotch tension is flyer driven / meaning the drive band makes twist on the flyer. Irish tension is the drive band is on the bobbin. The item you referred to as giving tension to your drive band is really for use when you are in single band drive

This was awesome! I so want to learn to spin. Would I be able to use this wheel for some time or would I need to upgrade as my spinning improved (hopefully). Thanks Madison. So appreciate you!

Hi, thank you for this video. Just wonder if it's possible to treadle only with one foot? I have Louët 17 with one treadle and I find this suitable for me. I think it will give you more space (if that makes sense) and you choose a bit how to sit, different angle.

Havent tried a double treadle using only one foot, think i'd stick with a single treadle if you only want to use one foot... Best way to know is go to a shop that sells both and try them out maybe?

@@madisonsmagikal1465 I'd love to go a shop that sells spinning wheels, but in my country there is none. There is only one sheep farm who have a online store and they are selling only Louët spinning wheels. That's it! I know we have here in Finland many spinners and everybody gets the wheels from abroad. You have two treadles in your Ladybug and nice to know that it is possible to use only one leg. This was informative for me. Thanks you!
