Tomb raider 2 had easily the creepiest levels out of the whole series, this one, floating islands and ice palace with the yetis screaming and that huge guardian are more like a horror game

Well, this fucking level made me realize I have some sort of thalassophobia. Played it first time as a kid and as soon as it started I actually screamed and hit the pause button quickly af. My sister who was watching burst out laughing. Then I made her play the beginning part because I just couldn't. Good times.

@@MaxskiSynths Lol I love how people have similar experiences. My sister is the true MVP because there were others parts in these levels which I was freaking out about and she played through all of them like no problem XD. Probably wouldn't have been able to finish these levels without her.

I always used to laugh, at the henchman screaming before he crashed into the side of the coral reef. Also I used to ponder what made him crash? Was he surprised at the shark charging him that caused loss of control? Or didn't he see the size of that coral in time to steer away because of how dark it was at that fathom?

Ugh, it took me awhile to figure out how to get back on solid ground in this level. As a side note, for a while I was wondering why Lara can't simply swim back to the surface. Of course, one reason is that she's trying to find the Seraph and catch up to Bartoli to see what he's up to. The other reason is, simply, she realistically wouldn't make it to the surface. If she's really 40 fathoms underwater, she's 240 feet down. She also didn't take a scuba tank with her and had already used up much of her breath riding the mini-sub to that point. I seriously doubt that even professional divers could get back to the surface in those conditions.

@J Slough Heh, yeah, I forgot to mention the intense water pressure she'd be under. She also would've at least gotten the bends with the way she came back to the surface.

The Deck Wreck of Maria Doria, and this were the hardest levels for me as a child along with The FootHills and the Monestsry level without accidentally shooting the Monks lol.

@@vanjatimotic8544 There's two T-Rexes hidden in the first level of this game as well, scared the crap out of me when I first found them lol. There aren't dinosaurs anywhere else in the game, so I didn't expect it.
