NEFL Eagles ~ Mating Attempt! Busy Morning Gabby & 24E1 Bring In 5 Sticks & 2 Clumps Of Moss 9.30.24

Early in the morning, Gabby and 24E1 are on the wallenda branch when 24E1 catches Gabby by surprise and hops on her back and attempts to mate with her. Unfortunately cam 1 lagged during this mating attempt and cam 4 only saw a glimpse of it. I don't know if it was successful or not but we do know that 24E1 keeps trying!
After the mating attempt, they both got to work with nestorations. Gabby brought in three sticks and 24E1 brought in two sicks and two clumps of moss! 24E1 will sit briefly in the nest too ♥ They are keeping busy working on the nest which is one form of courtship behavior.
Still no sightings of Beau since Sept 17th.
