So many questions & so much happiness for our SWFL EAGLES. Thank you to all whom share their footage of their capture in natures time with explanation. We, my husband & I ask each other questions we can’t answer. So please if we may. When & how it it determined the Eaglets sex. Is teaching to hunt after learning to fledge & return while Mom & Dad will feed, Does Mom & Dad miss their eaglets when they fledge truly now on their own. We, especially me cry cause the lessons that is shared in all videos is a human need. The circle of life instinctual no ego. Wow, E23 has also the spirit of its sibling. God’s Blessings, thank you. We pray almost everyday when we past the nest. Thank you to the Prichett Family for these beautiful experiences. I gives grace & blessings to our everday. Amen…

E23 is a beautiful strong young eagle, but I will never forget E22💚 anyway. It was an eagle with a story, a destiny that captured everyone's heart. E22 was a legend💫 in this nest, we laughed and cried thanks to Lady Hawk and her videos and narration. I will never forget, he was unique, he could survive without his mom with only a devoted dad. 💖So many wonderful people loved him. I hope you are flying high and free, dear E22.❤

They made a great choice when they (whoever they might be) chose the eagle as a symbol of the US. What spectacular birds they are, especially in flight. Last year we saw what fierce defenders E21 and E22 were when there were intruders at the nest. I've no doubt E23 will carry on that tradition if and when the time comes.

It was going to be the turkey! Then they chose the bald eagle. I believe Ben Franklin had a say in it. Most likely Congress, a Congress that loved our new Nation & democracy.

@@carolynplesa1256 Turkeys are magnificent, beautiful birds, but they don't convey an image of strength and courage. They aren't known for soaring but, rather, spend much of their time on the ground. I've lived where turkeys are abundant, and I love seeing them, but the bald eagle leaves me awestruck.

Awe bless E23, reached every milestone with such greatness and F23 is spending more time at the nest with E23 lately as i think she knows that soon her job will be done. It will be a bittersweet day when E23 goes on its own lifelong journey, but i will treasure these moments until that day comes. E23 has grown too fast for me, i'm not ready to let go yet. E23 could not be any more charming, as well as haven proven he is a mighty young eagle! Head tilts while looking at Mom... even she is facinated by her first offspring's amusing behaviors! E23 is super curious and smart... it looks like E23 knows how engaging and funny he is. I adore him! (My bet is on being a male, slim ankles and shorted beak!)
