WoW! Just found your channel and I am a noob at CotW. This was SUPER helpful, thank you very much. Your Discord is wonderfully useful as well. I am SO excited to play! I learned more in this video than the many others I have watched and the hours I have spent stumbling through the Fandom wiki and running around Hirschfelden, rundown by boars, laughed at by pheasants. The game finally took pity on me and put a Roe doe in the road in front my of my ATV. She kindly waited for me to get off, sort out my gear and drop her at 13 yards. We all have to start somewhere. After that, I had to work for it.

What a fantastic video. I’m still learning this game and your videos are the only ones that explain things properly. I ran out of ammo once and couldn’t hunt because I had no idea you had to actually equip your guns after purchase. Thank you for all your hard work with these videos. This video is wonderful, it has helped me tremendously, but I'm looking for the kindergarten class. 1. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to access the hunter's GPS in the lower left of your screen. The moment I select a firearm, it disappears. 2. Are missions worth doing? In Layton Lake, I took two pictures of different bears, was mauled by one, but Trampfine hasn't paid me. Same with Vualey. Yes I made sure I was in each mission. 3. My map goes dark again if I haven't been in an area for a while.

Great video! Lots of new players coming to CotW since it´s free on Epic, but´s a really hard game in the beginning. I love your content however the 243 is actually a remarkablly good rifle, perhaps you should use itt more often is ideal for black tail, I know we are all a bit spoiled by the newer rifles but stating the 243 is a lesser rifle is inaccurate.

Hi , I am A beginner in the game and I have mostly used the .270 rifle. Problem is I am running into trouble with animals that is tier 3 like Roe deer. Is there a better rifle than the .243 which uses ammo for tier 3 animals ?

If your friend has the outpost and have tents you can place a tent at outpost and then your friend can fast travel there the dismantle and your friend gose to the next on places a tent and repeat

A tip you didn’t mention I’d like to add is the ability to whistle, that blacktail was facing away from you and you wanted to hit a broadside shot. It may have been a good chance to demonstrate whistling to get the deer to look up or turn. I’m definitely not telling you how to hunt since I’ve played for a day at most and I’m depending on your videos to help me actually harvest some game, just thought that would be a good addition to the tutorial.

I find that whistling usually spooks animals and I almost NEVER use my whistle so I wouldn't think to talk about it

The only thing I don’t like about playing on Xbox is when I aim and press the joystick to steady my aim and if I accidentally move the joystick some my character walks and messed up my shot I’m I will probably get better with that and I will probably will be getting a gaming monitor for my Xbox getting speakers or a headset and playing mouse and keyboard

No, you want one or the other. I believe they both come with the base game which you don't want to pay for twice. Google what's in each and compare them

Look at their stats in the store - actually look at the ammo. Penetration is most important I'd say and accuracy

I dunno; I like using hollow points/soft tips for, uh, "softer" animals and brain shots (unless you're using a .22 on a small skull, then it'll penetrate one layer of bone, lose velocity, and rattle around inside the skull and muck up the brain for an instant death. Good for humans and small deer. Anyway, uh, that's expansion. I use it for medium animal headshots (try not to exceed 100 lbs game) and smaller targets like rabbits, lynx/bobcat/foxes/coyotes/javelinas/musk deer, etc. Even if you hit their torso, the round will shatter and muck up their lower organs for a quick kill.

Hey Lady, so nice to see you are doing this. I can never figure out how you crouch/crawl slower? I am on pc with a xbox controller. I always have some bars showing if I am moving. I just realized as I was watching that since female deer have no trophy organs or level that you could shoot them in the head to level up if you don't have a lung shot available. I do wonder if you would get full money though? Also I have noticed, No One doing beginner guides ever says to go to the question marks,the ones that give you info when you click them give you 100 free xp, that's the same as a deer almost w/o the cost of a bullet. If I start a new game does it get rid of the dlc maps that I already have, also I got this game for $25 U.S. dollars and 2 other dlc maps with the other guns that come with it and I thought the quads were not a dlc but google says they are it’s called the ATV Saber 4x4 dlc

No, it just resets your progress in the game. You won't have to buy the maps again, but it WILL reset your progress in every single map. Be aware it is permanent unless you back up your files.
