Mission one is a bit of a half truth.. Some missions are like "Take a picture of 3 bears while the moon is in getorade on your birthday!" . I wish all missions were "Go here shoot X" "go there, take a picture of the place" . As that alone would encourage us to do the missions. But way to many are so spesific, for no reason...

lvl 60, reset 4 or 5 times. Kind fun to just replay and unlock stuff, despite owning all of the dlc. Just leveled back to 60 using the .243 and 45-70 pistols.

I say get the rangefinder as soon as you can. They aren't as powerful as the binos and you'll never use it again once you get the big binos, but the range finding is something you'll want as soon as possible.

I agree with all of it, but I'm a big fan of the .243 soft point. I'm lvl 60 and I still use them. Being a new player is very exciting!

For the beginner stalker I would recommend don't activate the observation towers. Then you will see where haven't you been yet.

That one is easy. Hunt an expanding area. Place tents every time you earn around $40,000, killing nothing but levels 4-7 of each species. 4s make 8s less likely to spawn, and less 8s means less 1s. Level 1 and 2 are the backbone of Great One grinding. Once you've killed all the level 4-7 and they've been replaced by a lv 8-9 or 1-2, then you start the true G1G - killing the 8s and 9s until you get a 10. If your chosen species tops out at Legendary, then you eliminate 3-6s, saving 1-2s and 7-8s. The more 8s you have, the easier it is to spawn enough 1s to increase the odds of getting your 9. The stricter you are with yourself, the faster your G1G will go. If I have made any mistakes, please post corrections in a reply, and I will endeavour to update the post. My current level is 16, so I'm definitely not an expert. ENSURE YOU READ ANY REPLIES IN CASE I FORGET TO UPDATE THIS WITH ERRATA.

i was a level "60" but I cheated my way there, got all my money and xp through a cheat software, and it was fun at first, but i wanna actually appreciate my level and appreciate my progress in the game, i had a couple rares and a couple diamonds for only 400 hours, but i reset everything and im starting from scratch, i havent actually struggled or learned to use my money wisely so i think this will be very fun

Being a new player is very exciting! Being a level 16, with Emerald Coast, 5 tents, 3 tripod stands, about 1,000 rounds of ammunition, and the VALLGARDA .375, feels like cheating. I make about $40,000-50,000 per beach run from the South up to the Ocean Cave, can sprint 80% of the time without fear of spooking prey, and thanks to my Bloodhound, I don't have to worry about them sneaking up on me. Literally any dog will do, because they start growling if a croc is within about 40m, and they have a specific stance when a threat is nearby (this means crocodile(s) is/are aggressive). Had 2 level 7s and a level 8 trying to attack me simultaneously WHILE I was checking out a sweet heart-shot on a level 4. Dog growling let me know to put the first croc down, the .375 top down over the top of its head smashes the lung, and each croc only needed one shot each. Recommend taking your scope off when the dog growls. The Glock in the sidearm pack will also easily kill charging crocodiles with the aforementioned shot placement, has a high magazine capacity, good hipfire accuracy, and the weapon is also great for spooking charging lv1s with the muzzle blast, saving you needing to hit it. If there are multiple, this weapon has the highest penetration of all semi-automatics, and the ammo is very cheap. Despite being 'too small' for a diamond, I find it to be an essential carry, even if it's rarely used. The confidence to close with a group of dangerous game (such as a pack of high level wolves) while bow-hunting and be able to survive a mistake is worth its weight thrice over.

Thanks for the video! As a beginner with DLC, why wouldn't I just use the 7mm rifle to cover 4-9, and then cover 1-4 with another weapon? I see so many people using up to 4 weapons, but I never understood why they just won't use a rifle that covers more animal classes.

It's a Twitch Gifted Sub which gives you ad-free viewing and use of all of the custom emotes! You'll also be invited to the once a month voicechat for members in Discord. A small group of us get together in a Discord Voice Chat (usually about 40 people) and we chat for about 45 minutes about the game. I often will share my screen and take everyone through a trophy lodge tour or share my great one grind and share tips. Whatever everyone wants to talk about. It's a lot of fun! It's a Twitch membership only because YT doesn't allow us to gift memberships to individuals. You can only gift to a random person so that's why it's a Twitch membership. I stream on YT and Twitch at the same time now!

When you harvest an animal. What does tracking distance supposed to mean? I dropped 2 separate Roe Deer and the distance isn't accurate at all. I think 1 said 400 meters and it probably only moved 30 feet before it dropped. I had one drop instantly from where it was shot, 263 meters. I mean, I first spotted it from a distance, and I moved forward some as it got to the water. I figure tracking distance would be like blood trailing
