I know right season 11 the last 2 or so episodes with the entire gang together; Lucifer, God, Rowena, Sam, Dean, Crowley, and special guest appearance Cas via Lucifer has got to be some of the strangest and most amazing shit i've ever seen. Dean and Sam literally played therapist to God and Lucifer who ended up solving their grievances with eachother in a single episode only for Lucifer to return the next season and go back to wanting to unleash hell on earth and end up having a son.

I really miss this Cas. I like the fluffy, dorky, sorta sad moments of the later seasons but this righteous badass definitely had his allure. It would be nice if the writers looked back at this season and incorporated some of this back into his dialogue, even though he's not as self-assured or antagonistic as he used to seem. Cause Dean certainly still has his childish moments, it's just that no one seems to check him anymore.

I was happy when Cas stood up for himself (in dialogue at least) in the second to last episode of this season. Seems to me he doesn't need to be a wuss to be human.

I miss this Cas. But at the same time, this is the Cas who was fresh out the gate and pure angel. Unemotional and cruel. And because of his love for Dean, he became his own person. I just wish that while they had Cas adapt to favouring humanity, he still kept this badassery and power. The last time Cas scared me was season 6, when he shoved Crowley to the wall and said “I’m still an angel. And I will bury you.” And to Sam “will you? Boy?”

I absolutely love the part when Castiel reveals what would happen if all the seals were broken and at the mention of Lucifer the intense eerie music drops which immediately gives people the sense of how bad this really is. I really miss these early seasons of Supernatural, back when they treated these entities with respect and care and really made them feel like an unstoppable threat.
