Loved her relationship to Bruce in this. Normally they either do the back and forth of "antagonists that flirt" or she's far too much of a hero. Here she's very much a good guy but Batman doesn't even threaten to put her away which makes it more fun tbh. It's more of a relationship rather than a fling.

their relationship here pretty much inspired their entire relationship in the TV series Gotham, and it’s so adorable to watch. despite her being a “bad guy,” bruce could never lock her up or turn her away because he loves her too much. no matter their roles, hero or villain, the amount of care they have for each other surpasses all of that ❤

It is the man's origin story, and yes, it is canon. So in seeing it then you essentially did have knowledge on what Selina Kyle's backstory was.

This was early Batman. I feel it would be interwoven in the time of Batman the animated series after his first love. I’ve noticed he was very green in his thinking and trusting. I’d have to go back and find examples but I remember thinking he made a ton of mistakes and trusted way too easily in these Halloween movies.
