I watch KM videos just to hear og's talk about how life was back then for them in their day growing up and living the struggle. No hating no politics. los angeles has history and it just interests me how all these men survived the gang/street/prison lifestyle in the 60's,70's,80's,90's etc... i dont like watching gangland or some bullshit documentaries on t.v. that lie or exaggerate the truth just to strike fear into the viewers. Respect to KM's journalism and much respect to the men taking time to speak their mind and knowledge for the younger generations 💯

What up Kev Mac? good interview once again homie. Man!! It was one question he didnt answer. I was hoping to hear from his piont of view on the early 70s on how it was for the Bloods in the pens during those times. You did ask the question Kev Mac but the og didnt come back with the answer. I would love to hear how it was for the first Bloods that hit the yards in the california penitentiarys. All in all my brotha good interview always.

Dope interview. My dad was a Rebel Rouser I bet he knew most of the OGs you interviewed. I just wish he was alive so I could show him your videos. My brother was from ENF aka Family Swan I showed him some of these cats and he recognize a lot of these OGs and validated some of this information. Love the videos Kev keep them coming this gives us insight on our history and hopefully will help wake up this new generation. #BigFan!

I did a paper in a class in anthropology a few months ago. I choose to discuss the culture of gangs and from the research dated gangs in LA bac to the 1920s. I think a lot of the ghettos across the country had gangs of some nature during the 60-70s.

His mother's side of the family is from here in Southern Illinois, in a town called Harrisburg, which is mentioned by George in Soledad Brother. Likewise, its 20 miles east of Marion, IL. Bro, you should do a documentary on George from a Black perspective instead of the white documentaries I see on KZbin.
