it has to do with the club and the supporters making it clear that we support all angelinos to be a part of the club. there are flags of countries of origin, flags representing supporter groups, and flags to represent LGBT community members. there's a whole supporter group in LAFC called Pride Republic. it's a big deal to make sure everyone feels welcome and that this club is for all the people without discrimination against sexuality or gender identity. it's especiall important because historically, football all over the world has been a vehicle for abuse against LGBTQ people.
