Conductor gets me every time. Everyone looking pensive/serious/sullen, dude is like "YEEEEAAAHHH"

The conductor was basically me reacting to each time a new voice/instrument was added. He was celebrating the genius of the arrangements layering.

One of the many songs that show, to me, that Olafur Arnalds is the best musician alive. All the joy, sadness, beauty, sublimity and heartbreak of this world and our souls in the form of music. He is an artist in the true sense of the word. May God protect him and allow him to continue making this world a better place through these incredible pieces.

That's a really interesting read. I've always wondered why music is so powerful to me and how it can make you feel so good (or sad) I've also wondered if there is anybody that has never experienced 'frissons' and finding out that some people don't is sad for them. The piece in the article that really got me was the part about predicting the melody because this has happened to me so many times, when a song you're listening to does that certain key change and the goosebumps start. Thanks for sharing this!

absolutely beautiful, and beyond what words can describe. Thank you for giving the world this piece of beauty... in a time when there is so much darkness around us... This. is. light.

The amount of things that i felt inside myself while hearing this is just over own compreehension... it made me feel something that i cant describe with words. Something that tries to be anywhere close to explain the sentiment is that i feel what is like is to be unique, yet completely worthless to the universe. Like i am a beatifull star, shining for no reason at all, but shining. Forever.

I was recently in Iceland and I was simply blown away...well everything. I knew I would see breathtaking scenery, and this is true enough, but it was the people...the friendly, gracious and genuinely kind spirit I had heard of, but didn't understand fully until I experienced it that made me fall in love with Iceland. Your music is a personification of the experience and is a mixture of beauty, simplicity and just a bit of melancholy that really evokes the emotions that are brought to having been in your magical home. Thank you and I will be a fan, not only because your music is simply beautiful, but because it is uniquely Icelandic.

@@andrewk.277 Mate i can't speak for wether or not this was copied from the fable theme but i will say, just because it sounds pretty much the same and has the same note sequence doesn't mean they stole it. They could have just made this piece with something of their own in mind and accidentally recreated the fables guild theme. However i still recognize it as such since the heroes guild theme was made earlier and i heard it earlier.
