We'll be celebrate Nyepi on 25 March, takes only one day in Bali. This year, Nyepi starts early and all over the world are participating. I got mixed feeling for that.

It's strangely nice to see them in street clothes. Between the angelic singing and the performance attire, I sometimes forget these are regular people who go out to eat and go to the doctor's office or whatever. Regular people who happen to make beautiful music.

As someone who sings Renaissance polyphony as well as 20th century music I can assure you there's a place for both clean tone and vibrato.

Nonsense. You need both to produce good music. I concede vibrato can be overused and some singers have a vibrato that is wide enough to annoy or distract but pure tone can sound thin and inadequate to express the emotions of the soul.our voices are magnificent instruments. They can be used in many different ways.

Very similar to the other piece composed by Ólafur Arnalds. However, this one seems to be more complex and the range is bigger. The same kind of peace radiates through it. Thank you for sharing.

What a beautiful performance. Sonically perfect. Visually very nice yet quite imperfect, compromised by a wardrobe change mid-way. It is obviously edited from more than one take making it feel less 'live' than perhaps was intended. Why quibble? Because VOCES8 has high standards and this is below them imho. Still a joy to listen to. Thank you.
