I recommend a quick check inside "Ping Test Easy" before games. For as long as there isn't any in-client counter, that's my solution to that problem.

press win+R, type cmd. in the promp write "ping riot.xx -t" (xx depends on your region) and you'll have real time ping checks. without the "- t" part it just pings 4 times

go to windows menu -> execute -> write 'ping (na/euw/las/lan/etc).leagueoflegends . com -t'(without the last few spaces, with the one after 'ping' and the one after 'com',) then press enter and BOOM there you go ping to league server. It may not be exactly the same as the game as it is to the webpage but it's pretty close, and if your ISP is the problem or someone in your house is downloading you'll notice the spikes in the ping

You know what I'd like? The ability to see what my latency will be in-game before actually going in-game. It sucks to get into a game and realize you have horrible latency and you just lost the game because of it.

I know there are solutions to do it. They are all not things built into the client and not super obvious to people or take extra time. I don't see why they can't just build it into the client. I mean, people are still waiting on the Chat Rooms for the new client too and I doubt they will ever come back. Really a shame Riot is missing so many features and focusing on things that actually help people.

The idea of bad latency is that it's unpredictable what swings in connection will occur so it's very ironic to think you could know before a game what your latency would be in that game.

my interned cable was damaged and the game was really lagy.i will change itll i want is to report the lag and not wait 20 min for 5 games cuz i did not afk intentionally.The lag report shown on leavebusters isnt taking me anywhere and when i google it the site only tells me what troubles i might have.Pls help.

This is a great start, the next step should be an in-game thing for people who have bad connections, with things like "We see you are having packet loss, are you playing over Wifi? If so, you should switch to an Ethernet connection, which provides a stable connection."

how about ping detection before u can join a lobby of ranked games...u cant tell me the guys with 120+ pings are usually playin with 30 ...especially in low elo...feels bad to play with those guys cause u very often lose games cause them.why should u able to play in a world ladder with that ping..which make yourself havin a bad game and also and more important, your 4 teammates

that's why I like u riot, u know that your players have problems with their internet so try to help by making these awesome colourful videos so that EVERYBODY understands how to fix their ping. lag etc I know im just a person among millions of others so my opinion doesn't change anything but in my case, i would say you are the best game developer there exist. Just checked my wifi it was 230mb and 12 upload speed yet when i hop in a game it gives me 400 ping on my own state 😐

Help. Can't even connect to lag report. All I see is : This site can’t be reached lagreport.na.leagueoflegends.com took too long to respond. Also when I use cmd to ping na. leagueoflegends. com, I get like 7-12 ping. But when i enter game, 3000 ping. WTF is wrong with this game? Dota doesn't have this much lag.

Here everyones got the same Provider because there is no other possibitly and they got no Riot Direct so its a hard time playing league here. We just got 100ms additonal on evenings from 20-22:00 thats awful.

It'd be nice if suggestions or FAQ help was linked directly to your main issue after. Says 23/100 for me, latency: 75ms (though it's actually avg'd around 120 during game), Packet Loss: 2.65%, Jitter: 10ms Still don't know what packet loss is, and already tried the repair tool. Didn't do anything, still playing with the same lag. No FAQ/help support on learning what packet loss is via league (gonna search google/youtube shortly here).

My ISP bounces around where it gets the "internet" from, which security wise I think is a good thing, but it also means that my connection is rarely stable and even more rarely, a good speed. My ISP's score is 95, yet in the most popular of the "locations I've played in" I actually got 0 score. 146ms 5.5% packet loss and 22ms of jitter, no wonder I'm still in Silver 4 (Or maybe it's just my bonoboness..)

Unfortunately, I live on a rural area. I have to play on wii max, tops 3mb/s, and wifi on top of that. I used the tool when it was released, and I have serious connection issues in every match, even those my ping is fine :C

The ADC/Supp is actually goes The opposite, I main support and my problem is ADC is that they rush into the fight with my abilities on cooldown, i ping them to fall back, but they die ignoring my signs, then ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? hammering my head like a nail, or because the ADC goes AFK then once they come back after pure 10 mins match, they flame me for stealing creeps
