WATCH IN HD!! - Spoilers from Vikings, mid season 5 finale!
I wanted to make a video of Lagertha for years!!!!!!!! But she has a lot of moments... then the lesbian affair arrives, and it is always an excuse for me, so I tried to make this last season but astrid fucked bjorn and I was like WHORE, DON'T HURT MY POOR LAGERTHA. With this season at the beggining for a moment I though she wants to be queen, she doesn't care lagertha . but NO SHE DID, AND SHE HELPED HER SO I WAS WAITING FOR THEIR REUNION!!! BUT SHE ASKED HER FOR KILL THE UNBORN CHILD AND ALSO HERLSELF instead of run away TOGETHER!!!!!!
This is so sad, asking lagertha for do this, I am sure she will change the next episodes, her personality, she is devastated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also myself, I am happy because lagertha is still alive I was suffering I know she would die soon because of the asshole of Ivar AGH!

The look Lagertha gave Ivar after she killed Astrid was plain hatred. Katheryn really pulled this off. Ivar was a bit shook, you can tell. Lagertha's and Astrid's love will live in Valhalla.

Ikr!! Astrid and Lagertha have the most tragic romance in the whole series. Astrid loved the shit outta Lagertha but Lagertha still had Ragnar in her heart and wasn’t ready to let herself fully love another person like that again, tho she cared about Astrid more then she’d admit even to herself. After Ragnar’s visit she’s definitely shook and just won’t shut up about ‘her beloved Ragnar’ and you could see that bothered Astrid, she even slept with Bjorn trying to get Lagertha’s attention. Then she gets kidnapped by king Harald and Lagertha is left in Kattegat thinking she was betrayed once again. Poor Astrid is strayed in another land surrounded by enemies and she agrees to marry Harald trying to make the best out of a shitty situation but she freaking thinks about Lagertha at the altar. She closes her eyes and all she sees is Lagertha. She betrays Harald to warn Lagertha about the attack risking her life, she gets fucking gang raped to send Lagertha that message. They only meet again at the battlefield, on opposite sides, with Astrid married to Lagertha’s enemy, the guy who kidnapped her, pregnant, possibly of her rapists. And in the end she asks Lagertha to kill her and makes her do it. It’s SO FUCKING SAD. SO FUCKING TRAGIC.. I hope they meet again in Valhalla.

Elaine Lotcpeich if you really think about it, Astrid's death wasn't in vain. Lagertha's story is coming to an end and Astrid died to protect her. Like she promised, just not the way she thought she would. In all the lesbian trope deaths we've seen, this one actually makes sense and was so amazingly done.

Elaine Lotcpeich Astrid and Lagertha have been together for over 7 years after the time jump in 4x11. Lagertha trained Astrid and killed Ivar's mother (her ex-husbands wife) to secure the throne and rule Kattegat. Ivar then promised to kill her, to which Astrid promised she'd protect her. Both of them take other lovers but remain together. They're amazingly laid back about this and the trust and love never really wavers. Astrid is kidnapped by King Harald of Norway in season 5 and Lagertha mourns her. Astrid tries to have a message delivered to Lagertha and is raped in the process. She marries Harald, thinking she will be able to reunite with Lagertha, becomes pregnant, but still thinks she can return to her, when Harald and Ivar lose the war. As she realizes that they won't lose she seeks Lagertha out on the battlefield and lets herself be killed, not wanting the child and not wanting to see Lagertha die and betraying her for real this time. Lagertha rages on, loses the battle and Astrid's death eventually breaks her, which fulfills the prophecy that one of Ragnar's (her ex-husband) sons would kill her. It's an incredible thought out story and very tragic and I love it to death.
