Jet Thruster Docking system for bow and Stern. This Lagoon 560 is equipped with a Quadruple JT90 Jet Thruster system: 2 units for the Bow and 2 units for the Stern. Both system operate in tandem. When pushing the bow controls, both Bow-system engage and deliver the thrust. For this Lagoon 560, 180Kgf for the bow and 180Kf for the stern, result in a total 360Kf thrust power, which enables total control over the Catamaran.
Jet Thruster system include a powerful DC Driven waterpump, Directional control valve and nozzles. A very basic principe of taking in Sea water and blowing it out in a large volume. This enables to keep all parts of the system inside the boat. No moving parts in the water anymore. The special function of the system enables to have the nozzles directly below the waterline: Ideal for shallow draft boats, such as this Catamaran.
