What l've noticed,some of us abroad actually know more about what is going on in Nigeria than people at home.The road is reduced in this section due to high level of development already on ground in vi and lekki section.The rail section starts from jakande not vi.the minister said it times and again.Those uncompleted building are not going down,the compensation would be too much.The buildings is the reason the road becomes 4 lane at that point and join back to 8 and 10 lane after those buildings and area.

Not all of us at home find joy in being ignorant. You are very correct in your explanation of how the realignment was handled and yes the minister explained this times without number. All i would add is that Eco Atlantic city extends beyond LandMark and Good Beach. Don't forget it was only the phase I of the project that was sand-filled. The Phase II sand-filling has commenced. It was because their Sea-Wall that all does beaches existed in the first place. They all knew it was a temporary situation.

1. The rail section will start from Jakande to Lekki FTZ. There, the width of the road is wider. 2. The road will split at a point where those buildings are into 2 lanes and reconnect further ahead. Those buildings will be spared. 3. Are you related to Kizz Daniel? You look so much alike! 😂

I one's heard the minister in an interview with channels television where he said that the rail will start from the jakande area.

Railway section would kick start from Jakande area and not from Victoria island, hence the width from Jakande axis, the guy on the red was right, thats Eko atlantic power plant structure. Also, the other end you talked about if theyll be pulling down those new building, they wouldnt, but rather the road would be split into two section and reconnect after that section.

I will prefer he get all the money and build the road than hire contractors that won’t build the road even at lesser cost. We’ve seen what happened in Nigeria in the last 50 years. The supposed due process didn’t work. All our roads are still death traps. If his company will fix it, so be it.
