Thanks for this. Lagos Airport is an airport like no others. Highly disorganised with lots of corrupt officers. The only item you cant afford to leave home without is just your passport. Don't let the officers intimidate you, you should have the rights of a customer, and possibly a citizen too. Many of them aren't friendly, and wouldn't care if you don't make your flight. Travel light if possible. Goodluck

you should add at the que for check in, you will get put in a longer slower line if you dont bribe someone. Also that you should weigh your own bag before you get to the airport as they will compromise their scales to make your luggage overweight when its not. You should also arrive to the airport at least 6 hrs before your flight.

Thanks for the video, I flew out of Nigeria in October, and it surprised me when I was told to move my bags to the agricultural section where I paid 2000, when I asked the reason, I was told it was because I had food items which they termed or referred to as agricultural products, I was speechless hearing that I would actually have to pay for carrying food items with me to my destination country. I just had to give them to allow me to go because i needed to get to my airline faster and do check-in

Things like, what food stuff you can and cannot take to the UK, how much money to have with you, do you need your bank statements (Jaapaa student with dependant!) must you have long term accomodation sorted already, how to dress for travel, weather wise, general stuff like that.
