Hopefully that 'right' leader will never be that ridiculously overrated, sickeningly over-celebrated, and badly packaged Agulu chancer. Cry all they want, Peter Obi will never be the president. Our Igbo brothers and sisters can do all the propaganda in the world, guilt trip and gaslight us all they want, Peter Obi will never be the president. As it is, some of us will rather Nigeria break up this minute than to see the bumbling upstart as the president. And talking about the 'right' leader who will "silence a lot of external hate and internal division", a great many of us are intelligent enough to know for certain that will definitely not be Peter Obi, the closet tribal chauvinist. Our Igbo people, please keep doing your propaganda, keep defaming Nigeria, keep spreading negative propaganda about Nigeria in every possible way, please double your efforts a thousand times more, cry and throw your toys out of the pram, the fact is, we here are laughing at your amateurish machinations. It's great fun to watch your weepy frustration and the zany desperation. You all make good entertainment for us.

Lagos is coming up in terms of a city that has a blend of old and new high-rise structures embellished by upscale, urbane and magnificent residential estates and neighbourhoods. Our problem in Nigeria is just leadership, having visionary governors and presidents who diligently and selflessly show capacity to transform our cities and the people living in them. We have no reason to migrate to other climes in search of greener pastures. We are a blessed nation with enviable human and natural resources.

You people don't know a shit about Nigeria. Because of our enormous population, we don't create one clustered CBD in a city. We scatter development/CBD to different districts far away from one another. In Nigerian, it's always a small development here, and a small development there and a small development everywhere. This is to ensure that people don't head towards one direction during rush hours. Despite this, we still have heavy traffic in Nigeria, especially in Lagos. Let alone we have all the businesses and sky scrappers clustered together in adjoining districts, which you guys termed as beauty. Thus, Nigerian cities are not like the CBD in Nairobi, Joburg etc. If we do as they did, we will shoot ourselves on the foot. Eg, in Lagos, development/CBD is scattered all round the local governments. If development are clustered together, the traffic gridlock will be chaos. Thus, we have little development in Victoria Island, little development in CMS marina, little development in Ikoyi, little development in Lekki, little development in Ikeja, little development in Surulere, little development scattered everywhere. If all Lagos developments are clustered together, even Joburg will not stand Lagos in highrise and beauty. Though a clustered development is about taking place in Eco Atlantic, in Lagos, but it is only thought of because the airport and other modern facilities/utilities are being constructed in Lagos islands to support such clustered city when developed.

You would find that the Makoko and those other informal neighborhoods which constitute the eyesore that you all love to use for hectoring us and in some cases, exploit to ridicule Lagos and make money off KZbin posting those poorly made contents maligning Lagos everyday, are mainly created and occupied by *non-indigenes* of Lagos who flood in daily to Lagos for better economic opportunities from all over Nigeria and even from other West African countries. If other state governments in Nigeria are half as effective and purposeful as the Lagos State government in other parts of the country, maybe we will not have a reason where every man and his dog rush to Lagos to constitute the nuisance and eyesore which 'smart' folks like you are always so quick to talk about whenever Lagos happens to be the subject. If the northern states are not so preoccupied with banditry, religious extremism and sharia, and the eastern part of the country are not so poor at running their states and their badly educated people are not focusing so much on crime as a lifestyle, then maybe, just maybe, we as a federation, might just be able to "do better things for citizens" of Nigeria.

Okay now go to Mushin and Ikorodu. Go to Iyana Ipaja and Agbule Egba. Lack of security and lack of stable electricity. Lagos is the ghetto. The place you're going to, is inhabited by people who stole the country's money. The minimum wage in this country is less that $50 monthly, and the lost of living is high. Better show the whole of lagos and not the places of the 1%.

All the places you are mentioning are part of Lagos State, and not necessarily in the city of Lagos! The vlogger is concerned with the city of Lagos! Having said that, exactly how poor are those places? There are almost no government presence there, yet there are all manner of houses BUILT and OWNED by the local people who live there! The fact that they might not be tidy, does not mean that the people there are poor! In the areas , you mentioned, a lot of non indigenes ,particularly the South East traders live in those areas and they are huge and very successful traders and businessmen! You were attacked brutally, because you were trying to be uglyy and mocking! The vlogger here is showing the possibility of Lagos and its potential! He is not misleading anybody because it is all facts. Especially if you listen to his narratives! He clearly states where he feels Lagos, and by extension Nigeria needs to do better!! The whole of Lagos State is one of the safest states in the country!! So all these places you are mentioning in Lagos are by far safer than the North , the South East and parts of the Middle Belt! Nigeria has potential, end of !!! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!

Structures do not showcase the countries success
@alexbanj7a7bc10 ай бұрын
But people like yourself, Mr Onuorah, are always so quick to post videos of lesser African countries showing their 'Structures', overhyping them, and making ridiculous comparisons with Nigeria with the sole purpose of ridiculing Nigeria, your country, our country, because of some political agendas. Make up your mind Onuorah, which is which? If you say "Structures do not showcase the countries (sic) success", does that apply to those lesser countries in Africa which you and your people always make so much noise about as well?

There IS light and water in these places, so stop telling lies. If you are referring to power cuts in Nigeria, it’s par for the course in larger developing countries from India to Pakistan to South Africa and even China. Google it if you don’t know. And yes, good infrastructure and office blocks DO indicate development and economic growth and expansion. What would you prefer to see? A dirt road with camels?
@alexbanj7a7bc10 ай бұрын
Boamah is Akan name. Akan is a major ethnic group in Ghana. For that reason, I assume you are Ghanaian. Now a Ghanaian should be the last person on God's earth to talk down to other people about lack of electricity. You know why? Ghana doesn't have that same electricity. Ghanaians have a word for their bad electricity service. *Dumsor* is what they call it. And just a few days ago, the electricity went off twice at the Cape Coast Stadium while Ghana was playing against Ethiopia in the group stages of the football event at the All African Games while the world was watching. Boamah, please go home, you have no basis as a Ghanaian to talk down on Nigeria. And just so you know, This year's edition of the All African Games being hosted by Ghana is turning out to be the worst ever in the history of the game.
