I loved this. Not only was it a great portrait of an accomplished craftsperson but it was also a delight to focus on a woman in the shop illustrating there should be no barriers on who gets to indulge in the sweet smell of fresh cut wood and marvel at what gets revealed when the tool is put down. Aside from Ashley's obvious talents across a range of disciplines you couldn't help but feel she is a lovely person we would all be happy to call a friend. Thank you for this.

Great story! I've followed Ashley for years. She does incredible work and her talent and passion for the trade is one of a kind. It's amazing how life takes you on many paths but the one thing that is consistent if you love what you do great things will come! I've always loved woodworking and creating stuff. This was a wonderful video about the AWESOME professional wood turner that no one really hers much of. I for one would LOVE to see some You Tube videos from you, even if they are once every month or two just on tips and techniques. Do you ever combine your craft of glass blowing with woodworking projects? Like make something with a glass dome on top of it? I love see people who have more than one craft combine them together.
